What is a Kitchen Sink Batt? Well, they are usually blended up with whatever mix of hand dyed and commercially dyed wool I might have kicking around. Often times they are constructed from handdyed fibres which were experimental or overstock from club dyelots. Sometimes I will throw in angelina or firestar to give it some sparkle, maybe some sari-silk, or other type of silk. Please check the blend below if you want to know which types of fibres are included in this batt.
This particular blend of fibre includes:
BFL & Merino
I tend to blend batts at least twice, often three times. These batts are smooth and should draft nicely when spinning.
This listing is for one handblended batt. If more than one batt is available there will be an option to choose between more than one in the drop down menu. Most batts weigh in around 57g/2oz.
Please note that variations will naturally exist between batts even within the same colour set. However, they are all blended with the same mix of fibres and colours.
