This blend is 80% Organic Polwarth Wool and 20% Cultivated Silk.

The Polwarth foundation stock is 75% Merino/25% Lincoln. Polwarth fibre has a longer staple length than its Lincoln DNA. This makes it easier to spin. The micron count of this wool is between 22-25 which makes it next to skin soft. Polwarth is noted for its elasticity and durability, it is considered a delicate fibre with bounce and drape.

 

Unless otherwise noted all braids are between 3.8oz & 4oz. This fibre will felt.
