Each braid of Rambouillet is approximately 4 oz. Unless otherwise noted all fibre braids are between 3.8oz & 4.2oz.  

 

Rambouillet has many of the same characteristics as Merino, but with a longer staple and a bit less sheen. It is a fine fibre, which makes it very comfortable to wear directly against your skin. Like Merino, it can produce a very fine yarn and is a delight to spin.
